Recently bought a 2004 Lexus LX470 mainly for towing my tandem trailer which I have for a few vintage vehicles I have , it had no owners hand book on the vehicle or the GPS unit when I got it , I live in New Zealand so a right hand drive vehicle , the GPS unit only has Australia in it , I would like to update to a New Zealand version which a contact I have can do , but we can not located the DVD unit for the GPS looked in the most obvious places , can anyone throw some light on were it is located .

It's in the boot mate on Aus/NZ models from memory. You may have to pry off some trim. Also, I don't think you should have bothered. It's completely un-useable nowdays.

So you say it is a waste of time trying to up-date the unit ? , just use my portable $150.00 GPS
