Lexan on a DD? (1 Viewer)

Anyone run a lexan hood on their DD?

Tired of messing with rock chips and dings. I know that you cant sit on the lexan. Just wondering if its a viable choice for a DD/weekend wheeler.

Tough stuff, wouldn't have thought to use it for body parts & pieces. How would you form it?

Lexan is tough stuff, but it is quite soft and will scratch easily.

I was looking at Trentfab. I see them pop up from time to time in the classified ads section. Just got to wondering. I'm not worried soooo much about the scratch, more of the end to rust bubbles and dings on hood.
