Taking the week off to visit our adult children. Marin county this weekend and made it to Tahoe last night. GX with the 3MP Toyos is fantastic in the snow.

I am adding pictures as I go. This above photo was snow play area for my young at heart high schooler and their college age brother.

My older son joined us for lunch in Truckee. Family shot of his Taco and my GX. The Taco was my father’s, my son and I upgraded it from Grandpa’s truck when we moved it from Iowa to CA. It became his in 2021. We are hitting the trails on the Nevada side tomorrow.

Today hit the trails around Virginia City, NV with my sons. My oldest now has the Taco that was mine and before that my father’s. Both are on 33’s, his has Falken AT4W. The trail was muddy and slick in places due to the snow melt and the AT4Ws have more lug depth and cleared better than the GX Toyo’s. Still very pleased with the Toyo’s.

I did scrape the chin, the skid and even the front control arms. GX will definitely benefit from bigger tire and a little lift in the front.

Do you happen to have a bunch of red dirt on your truck at the moment? If so, I think I've seen you about 5 times in the last week. If not you've got a dirty twin running around town.
If it was in San Diego, then it was probably me!

Probably a twin. I spent 45 minutes washing off the mud at the car wash after spring break. The only red dirt currently is on the right rear wheel as I had an oil change and tire rotation post trip and the spare came out from under the truck still covered.

You're right. The blue does go very well with the sky. Reminds me, This is still the best LC250 photo I've ever seen.
Absolutely epic photo. Incredible.

Where is the trail out? Looks like the driver had to snap his skis on and leave the truck behind.
