Looks like it comes with the connector and a pigtail so you don’t have to worry about crimping.

Thank you! So it's the coolant temp sensor?
I broke mine, too. You can actually get the wire ends out of the connector with a small pick and put them in the new one, no need to cut the harness.

Not planning on cutting anything, I've done this before, no cutting in a sensitive location like this
ECT Sensor
Pretty much a mission critical sensor- ECU takes ECT data to control timing, open loop/closed loop, evap function and more. Be sure to make factory level repair. If you start getting DTCs after your repair go back and inspect your work.

Same boat, finishing up valve cover gaskets/plugs/coils.....I've got the two plugs with pigtails, prefer not to splice but am also paranoid of breaking my new plugs, how exactly do the wires come out of there?
Lift the yellow plastic and then you should be able to see the wire clips and the locking tab on those wire clips. Dont mix up the wires. Do one at a time. If you correctly push the tab on the metal clip, thr clip should come out with ease. Lift the yellow plastic on the new holder and insert the clip into the new holder.
My sensor was faulty and had a high idle. Fyi, 92 corolla sensor and holder is identical to whats on my 00 LC.

I did when i first bought it three years ago, and then once more in September.
I hate working in dirty engine bays.
I did spray brake cleaner around the valve cover gaskets before i started.
A little trick: Most electrical connectors will have a number on them. Take that number add 90980- in front of it to find the Toyota part number. This will work in most cases.
