Headlight Revolution LED Off Road Light Bars, Aftermarket Headlights, LED and HID Conversion Kits and Bulbs

^ Is the only place I will ever buy LED bulbs from ever again. They do extensive testing on all different types of bulbs and only sell ones that are designed to exactly replicate the location of the LED diode with the halogen filament. This is absolutely critical as your headlight reflectors are literally designed around this placement.

Cheap ebay LED bulbs typically aren't that exact which results in a terrible light pattern and little to no cutoff which means you blind everyone coming toward you while being unimpressed with the light output (because it's not going where you need it). Believe me I've wasted money on crap LED's once.

Headlight revolution has thousands of videos on youtube demonstrating their test which include: Lumen output, beam cutoff, construction and installation. Look them up and research a bulb you like, it will cost more than an ebay special but it is the only option if you want LED's.

I run the Supernova V.3 in my depo's and love them, they are 100% brighter than the Phillips LED's I bought on ebay and they are hands down better than the stock while using less wattage.

DO NOT waste your money on a cheaper alternative to what you will find on headlight revolutions website, you will be disappointed.

Another consideration: If you live in a cold weather area where ice and snow is common you will find that your headlights ice over as the LED bulbs do not generate heat like the stock halogens do. I just deal with it, have thought about installing a headlight washer sprayer to help but haven't gotten around to it.

I just use one H11 in the low beam of each housing, the supernova h11’s have a low beam and high beam element on each bulb. I have the LED high beam wired to a button on my dash.

In the actual high beam side of the lights I still run halogens.

I agree with this. Housings / reflectors were designed for halogen bulbs. Bulbs with different light patterns just won't work the same. But I don't see how an LED bulb, which has LEDs mounted on opposite sides of a flat surface, has the same light pattern as a halogen bulb.

Cruzerman you really should watch some of their videos, they talk in great lengths about exactly that. Some of the tech has gotten so good that the wafer the led diodes are mounted to is 1mm thick. This means they can emit light evenly for almost 360 degrees.

The tech has gotten really really good, it’s no longer a gimmick mod done by people trying to do bling upgrades.

@SmokingRocks Where is the best place to find quality interior LED'S?

As far as interior LED’s I have no idea what are you looking to do?

You know like these. I see a lot on eBay but don't know which ones are quality.

Looks sweet, but nothing for the 80 series that I saw. Have you ordered them, from them, for the 80’s?

A few weeks ago I saw @chap79 install some SuperBrightLED 9006 LED lamps and I checked them out. I liked the price point of them and just went for it trusting that his review was accurate.

Last night I had my wife drive the rig down the street and I jumped in my trusty old Camry and we drove past eachother a few times. I would glance directly at the new LED's and they were not any brighter than any of the HID lamps on all the newer cars. I actually was surprised since when I first took it out at night on a test drive, I was worried they'd be blinding people since they seemed so bright.

So far, I would recommend these. I have only had them for a few days though. I was running the Philips 9011 HIR's prior, which were a great upgrade, but these seem a bit brighter and more light spread. As far as offroad, no testing or feedback yet.

Yep, those are the ones I got. Running both the 9006 and 9005. So far I’ve been pretty pleased. Still haven’t been flashed by anyone. Light spread seems to be even and cutoff is the same as where my HIRs was. I haven’t tried using the filters yet.
