I'm in a 2002 100 and I'm also thinking about these or some from Rigid Industries. It appears they would fit behind the openings under the grill with some slight surgery.

With a little surgery, anything will fit!

I did talk with Nick about similar options. My thoughts were to run 4x4 led'a on the corners of my rack. He mentioned that these wouldn't be much more than a compliment to my other lights.

I'm not an expert with anything electrical, but it would be nice if someone chimed in on the comparability between factory fog lights and these, as it relates to lumens and overall brightness - as well as how the pattern would be...

I'm very interested in seeing how this goes, would like to do something similar on my 2000. Pics/progress would be great as you go along.

Well, I'm not an expert either, but it would appear that junk is...see this excellent thread.

It's an older post, but the base information is still relevant regarding output. For comparison to the numbers in junk's post (1700 lumens for stock headlight high beams) the Lamphus bars put out 2800 lumens...about 65% more light than the stock high beams and about 280% brighter that the 1000 lumen stock fog lamp.

Here are the Rigid Industry D2s installed with amber lens cover. Lights are bright bright white without covers. Covers are $20 a pair and snap on.

Love the amber fog light! I bet that would be amazing in snow and fog!! I'm gonna have to look into something like that...

Great work. How much are those? Do your regular fog lights still work?

That's simply the amber lens cover I purchased later. They snap on tightly. I still have my stock fog lights in place as well.

You should see the lights without those amber covers. Extremely white. I may have to add a set to keep clear too.

I would recommend buying two sets of these and trying four lights side two on each side. This way you could do a colored light pair or a white pair or both on at the same time. This would be a better option than running a single config light IMO.

These were about $280 plus $21 for amber covers.
