Leaky windshields

So any leads on someone who can actually get my windshield sealed up? I had it replaced last July through insurance in Colorado by a company with several referrals from Rising Sun members. Since moving to NC and into its rainy climate in late anigust…it’s evidently not sealed up.

I’m in Angier, so 30’ish min south of Raleigh thank you

You can get this stuff and run a bead between the glass and seal and body and seal. It cleans up with mineral spirits and doesn't cure too hard, so stays flexible.

This would involve removing the window right? I’m comfortable doing pretty much anything besides did work, but pulling the window seems daunting.

No. If this hasn’t already been done, you pull back the seal edge against the body and run a bead and then you pull back the seal edge against the glass and run a bead. Window stays in place.

Check the sunroof drains too. Those will leak and sometimes make it look like the windshield is leaking. If anything, it's good to clean them anyway.

I’ve checked those in the past and they were clear, but like you said it certainly wouldn’t hurt to do so again.

I never officially joined RS due to commitment and work schedule issues. I was pretty active on the forum since 2016. I sadly, never made it to a cruise Moab event either.
I’m hoping to attend some meetings in the future as I did officially join the club around the time of Logan’s Run.. but getting free time without the family for a meeting is kinda tricky. I have 3 boys.. 7, 5, and a 1 month old. The 7 year old has some behavioral issues which makes it damn near impossible to handle them by oneself.

Anyways hopefully I can get to a meeting or join a club run etc once spring hits
