hi ya'll.

well , here are a few pic's of what i think is a leaking vavle cover gasket. the first pic is from the top right side and the second is from the bottom right side. any thoughts or disagreements? bob sellers, our local dealer in flagstaff tried to rape me for this service! i kindly declined. so, i'm gonna give it a go on saturday with some help from hltppr. in searching the forum. i found a lot of info on head gasket replacement and failure. but, not a bunch about the valve cover gasket. any advice is more then welcome at this point. tips or tricks of the trade..... i intend to follow the fsm to the last letter and i'm hoping that will be enough. thanks vic

Hey, that's just what mine looked like. Found out that the back bolts holding the valve cover to the head were almost falling out. Check to make sure they are still tight.
