Noiced yesterday a small puddle of coolant under radiator. Let the truck cool down, open radiator cap and it seemed pretty full, thought the cap might have been bad.
Today finally got under, removed skid plate and couldn't see any leakeage points. Turn engine on and started to leak more. Got light and camera, saw coolant between fan shroud and radiator, then saw it between lower plastic radiator and metal fins, see below. Is this a busted radiator? If so, any place in chalrlotte that could do this quickly? I am short of time this month. Thanks in advance, I will miss the meeting at 3 today, crap!

Lower fan shroud, fan is running, dark area is wet with coolant. All upper hoses are dry.

By the way, it's a Koyo, the PO told me it was installed a couple years ago. Tried pushing tabas with screw driver, leaks about the same.

I can see the coolant leaking by the tabs. The top side of the crimp is dry.

Napa will have ur best option if you want to go afternarket.

Just ordered another Koyo a1918 from CarID, seems like they should be good, not sure why this one leaked. When I take it out will see if there is anyway to repair. I need 5 weekends on a row to attack this....

After struggling with what the hell to do, went online to this place that was mentioned in other threads. Called this morning, and they delivered a radiator by noon to my house already. All for $175, supposed to have lifetime warranty, will document my adventure later when I have to change it. PITA.
But these company was very easy to work with by the way, I was impressed when Beth on the phone told me "we will drop it off at your house in a little while". Wow.

Glad to see this thread. My 80 has been parked for over a month since it started vomiting coolant from the vicinity of the radiator. Haven't had time to get in there and find the issue. It pours out of the bottom as soon as I add water/coolant. Let us know how this replacement works out. I will likely be looking for one too.

Will do. I need to find time, also see if my cruiser fits in the garage. Then can do the work after work. My boss is a giant a******, so no time off

I've met that guy. He seems to think he some kind of Latin despot.

Well, did it. Started around 4:30 today to get things ready, by 6pm was putting in the new one. So far no leaks and the shiny-happylife-radiator-supreme from China is good to go. I must have done something wrong, was fairly simple. I didn't loosen the belts to remove the fan, but remove the fan and the shroud together. It was uneventful.

Ran engine for almost an hour, vents didn't get hot enough, maybe 125F, so thermostat probably didn't open. Will drive around tomorrow to burp system. Otherwise, job is done.

Cool Izzy glad to hear you are back in business.

I guess with this u learned not to do the super flush to your truck because it will eat up the radiator.

I appreciate it. I was able to take a look Saturday and get things started. Seems like it has to be a fairly large leak. As soon as I get the radiator filled up, it just starts pouring out from somewhere near the drivers side of the fan shroud. Unfortunately, I only made it as far as draining the radiator and removing the battery and battery tray before heading out to play with the kids. I hope to find some time this Sat or Sun to get the thing out and possibly get a new one in there. I'll shoot you a message if I run into issues. Where in Charlotte are you?
