Does this power steering hose bolt seal with a gasket or crush washer? This is a leaking bolt on my ‘93 FZJ-80’s power steering pump. There is dye in it, illuminated with a UV flashlight.

Checking various o-ring kits, there are rubber, and fluoroelastomer at my local parts store. Which material is preferred for this application? I’m intending to replace the power steering fluid with ATF.

Viton or EPDM is what most auto stores will have which is acceptable.

Went with what O’Riley’s had on the shelf.
Rubber is good to 240 degrees so we’ll see if it lasts. The closest size was 10mm ID x 14mm OD x 2mm W

Topped it off with ATF, and am currently test driving. Seems good so far. Not dripping yet.
