Any ideas on this one?

Repaced front pads on my 62, passanger side caliper started leaking when I tried to pry it to release the pads. Rotors were a mess so I replaced them and both calipers.
A week later the new caliper was leaking on that side(other side is fine)Replaced with new caliper. Leaked again. Replaced with Toyota caliper, leaking again. I did`nt use shims, I used the liquid rubber. Is it possible the cylinders are extending out too far because there are no shims and that`s causing the leak?

With new pads and rotors, the pad's should be rubbing against the rotor....there shouldn't be any gaps. If you have gaps, you possibly have wrong rotors or pads. Have someone press the brakes while you look at the caliper...do you see where it is leaking from?

It's a good idea to use the shims as they help to displace some of the heat generated by breaking.
