Don't sweat it, it took 9 months to get our bumpers and some never got theirs from 4x4labs group buy.

Cody, I understand your frustration and applaud your restraint. Just a FYI, I have never been in a group buy deal where there were not delays. Some big, some small. The delays were for good reasons, bad reasons and sometimes just life. All the vendors were/are quality people. s*** happens.


I agree that communication is a huge thing. Do you know why Jim might not have called Jackson back immediately? Have you talked to Jim? Do you know how long Jim 'ignored' Jackson? Do you know if there were some production delays outside Jim's control? I personally don't recall a specific delivery date, but even if there was one I ignored it. We ordered over 10 sets of sliders at a considerable discount. I expected there to be a huge delay. It's not like these are sitting on a shelf ready to be shipped.


If these sorts of delays really get to you, I suggest that you avoid group buys and avoid custom made parts. Those sorts deals often lead to delays.

I don't know, what I see in this thread, Jim communicated quite frequently. More often than anyone I've dealt with on a group buy. I've been in group buys before and ordered special stuff before. It takes time. I would guess Jim has maybe 1 helper at most, but more than likely he's doing this on his own. He does custom work and I'll bet he found out that he can't make this happen as quickly as he thought he could. s*** happens. He's getting them done and they'll be sweet and you're getting a huge discount.
Patience young padawan.

They'll be at my shop today. As of 6:49 a.m. they were on the local truck for delivery. Our freight trucks usually show up in the afternoon, but sometimes they roll in early.

For those of you who are getting antsy, I hope that you can remain patient. These are hefty, well crafted sliders. I am looking forward to painting them and getting them on the truck. I hope to squeeze out some time this weekend.
