Ok @CharlestonG8R, there was a butt-whoopin' in Gainesville, but it wan't the Gators. I'll have my crow medium rare. :crybaby:
:deadhorse:
The Gators were pumped and ready to play... It's a shame Ole Miss didn't show up! That Ole Miss coach did not motivate his players, they looked defeated early in the game and never recovered. That's not the Ole Miss that I was expecting. The Gators have a good D, but the team is not Championship calibre this year. UGA was embarrassed tonight, but they should still take The Gators. Ole Miss will still win out.

I don't know about anyone else, but the water in my backyard is up to my thighs. Workshop is flooded; water is about an inch deep but tools are not wet yet. Oddly, the front yard is perfectly fine...

my yard is flooded, the ditches are overflowing, garage flooded, shed flooded, tools are fine, but anything on the floor got wet.

I have been watching the radar and was kind of curious as to how you SC guys were fairing. The line of rain training over you all is frighteningly similar to what we got here in middle TN back in 2010. We got almost 20 inches over 2 days, Flooded everything and did lots of damage. I hope you guys are all safe.

I can empathize

yeah, ssome places look like that.
We've had over 12 in. so far, and it's supposed to rain until Tuesday.
Maybe another 12 in. possible.
Get the boats ready.

Most of the roads around my neighborhood were closed last night. The ditches overflowed and the water ended up in everyone's yards. Our house is one of the highest in the hood, nothing eventful except some wet tools in the shed. I'm going to walk around and see if anyone needs help with debris.

On a bright note, my wife fully supports the installation of a 6" lift and larger tires on the 80. Furthermore, she has demanded a dorkel and winch to compliment said lift.

Downtown is on a peninsula and hasn't fared well. The rest of us have fared a little better, but there has been a lot of road closing. I'm in a flood zone and back up to the wetlands, but only the back edge of my back yard has standing water. More rain today, so we'll see how that goes. I know where Eagleville is, I used to live in Murfreesboro for a short while.

Well you are probably one of only a handful that do. In 2010 when Middle TN got we were living only a few hundred yards from the shore of Percy Priest lake and didn't even have any puddles in the streets, while downtown was under 5 feet or more in places. You guys stay safe.

Are all you guys good down there? Anyone's home damaged?

I don't think anyone here hs had any damage, Just flooded yards and sheds.

Im high and dry, Elsie stayed at my shop, and the water never reached the building. My house also sits on the wetlands, but it sits up on one of the only 'hills' in the neighborhood.

Going back to work after a long vacation suuucks. Wish I was in Colorado right now.
