Thanks Guys! I thought there would be room in a few of cruisers- they are so excited but we realized we had a seat problem. You guys rock.

Yea, itll be a haul. I drove to I-29 dragway in Council Bluffs Iowa last summer, for a car show and race, but that was in a racecar with no a/c. This drive should prove more comfortable, although much slower.

Now drowned by The Missouri River :(

All: Favor to ask from the community here- Does anyone who is running solo or an empty middle seat have a two seats available on some days for one of my two friends and their ~10yr daughters who have never been to the mountains? My issue is that I have drawers installed, and with my daughter and possibly my son going, we only have room for one set. Guido and Alejandro are from San Jose, CR and Guido is the business partner of Elite Land Cruisers (who is sponsoring the kick-off) They speak perfect English and are successful professionals back home and fun to be around. None of them have seen the beauty of the Rocky Mtns and would like to fly up to be a part of the experience.
I will be solo

Thanks all. With your generous offer to host one father daughter team in your open spots, Isa who is 10 and Ignasia who is 9 will be joining their dads, Guido and Alejandro as my guests this year from Costa Rica. Love seeing the kids get excited about the trip and to have my business partner at Elite Land Cruisers and mutual friend to join.

Note:
Always chocolate milk in my fridge for border patrol, highway patrol, law enforcement...and trail kids :). Kiddos can help themselves (also grown-up kiddos... :) )

NOTE! ***If the big man in the driver’s seat is too scary, Julie will be happy to help them find it in the row 2 passenger-side fridge... :p:steer:

I can attest Mark always has chocolate milk... for the kids of course! Hard to believe Year 1 LCDC my girls were 3 and 1 and this summer they will be 8 and 6. Their best memories are telling jokes on the radios!

I don’t always drink chocolate milk, but when I do it’s Cocoa Metro Belgian Chocolate Milk. My 5 yo son’s chocolate milk of choice is Nestle Nesquik. His is a daily habit... Since you’re apparently a connoisseur, what do you recommend?

So, I did not register because I did not think we could make it, but now it looks we can - but wait list! Bummer.

So what's the limit? And current length of the wait list? That could maybe help gauge chances of getting in.

Hey @codyaustin5 , do you know where we will be having dinner at? What are the chances my dog will be able to join? Thanks!

Heh... :hillbilly:
Not a connoisseur... Just a lifelong chocolate milk guy. Growing up, Saturday nights at home almost always consisted of homemade hamburgers and chocolate milk...

My favorite go-to is actually sold at Costco Professional stores (Costco, but focused around restaurant and reseller needs).

Nothing fancy...but good stuff. Not sold at normal Costco though...

But these are not space-efficient in a 4x4 fridge...so I pack a ton of Hershey’s boxed ones. Doesn’t get much more efficient than this:

Maximum space efficiency, and **not** 380 calories per (!!) like the above...

There are roughly 25 people on the waitlist going back to early Feb.

We’re still finalizing details and will have more to share soon. For now, it’s not a “no” for dogs at the dinner but I can’t confirm that it’s a yes.

Any recommendations on 2 way radios? Dont really have any experience so i dont know what I should be looking for. Nothing insane, as this will be the primary use for them.

This is the set I bought a couple years back for LCDC. Worked well for me.

Yea, I grabbed a set of those, though I have no idea what I'm doing with them either.
I know theres a wait-list, but I have confirmation through eventbrite, so I'm good right? Seeing everyone else question this has me paranoid as well.
