Thanks to excellent support and guidance from eventhough (Southeast Overland), I got my synthetic winch line this week and will post install pics. Steve's soft shackles and kinetic rope are really good too: tested his 30' kinetic rope the other day to pull out Nissan Y62 from deep sand and it worked like a charm !!

Southeast Overland is Highly recommended !

I think aluminum skids are a joke. Find some 3/8" steel skids somewhere

The weigh of my vehicle was near 4to - and the 6mm Alu skids had a lot of work..

But - they are ready for a 2nd transafrica...

No joke ;)

Try measuring from the center of your hub minus the bottom of your rim size. I believe stock front is 19.5 from center of rim to the fender. Can't remember what the rear stock height is.

Finally got around to install my Southeast Overland Syn line - big thanks to Saillaw for setting it up for me - i'm so glad that my stock cover still fits just fine  i think i got a reduction of around +10KG from removing the stock roller fairlead+steel cable. both are really heavy. Also you do need to drill 2 extra holes in the winch frame to fit the new fairlead.

I still need to buy 2 long bolts to adjust the fairlead properly. the big hook slides in just perfectly and no rubbing with the stock cover :)

i checked your link and my question is a bit off topic, but do the other manufacturers provide prayer rugs also? And these kits (first aid, etc) are from the manufacturer, not the dealer?

I don't know about other manufactures, but Toyota dealer gives out the rugs on all SUV's purchases. The first aid bag is from manufacture and is pretty much standard for any Toyota vehicle across GCC

oh any way you can post a pic of the interior on how much space is taken up with the winch???

This is a factory winch and its assembly is around 25inches long and 10inch width approx. I'm not sure where you are based, but here the local Toyota parts dealer can bring this stock winch for you for around 14000SAR (few months old qoute) However you can also look into some better options from SmiltyBilt or Warn winches and they will fit just fine behind the stock bumper. I posted pics of those winches in Lc200 some where in this thread, I think?

Got some time around to install my Long ranger (TR68L) 180L and it was a straight forward installation. Had to cut only 1 rear bracket and bend a few mainly required for under chassis spare wheel ! As I posted the subtank nozzle issues in another thread - my sub tank actually had 2 return nozzles so I didn't had to block any Aux tank nozzle.

Black coated the tank first

The return nozzles

Finally another rubberized coat for neat finish

Now time to enjoy the long cruising with 273Liters!

And the ironman awning / just u-bolted it with the factory rails, using the ironman provided aluminum L brackets. It's holding up pretty good but eventually I need to have a roof rack ! Baja is on top of my list - as it's only 5" tall ! Any other recommendations?

The V6 Land Cruisers use the same V6 as the FJ Cruiser, right?

Love the rear mounted spare. Such a rare feature nowadays.

Yes OTEP - all V6s - FJCruiser, Prado, 4Runner, & LC200 here in Saudi have the same engine i.e. 4.0L V6 1GR-FE Petrol.

Were you still able to use the underbody spare?
