Excellent customer service from ScanLogic fellows.

they not only replaced my broken screen free of charge but also updated the software to reflect my long ranger with 273L fuel capacity ! thanks ScanLogic !

Finally had some new shoes : BFG KO2s 285/70-17 : made a lot of difference for on-road comfort and humming noise as compared to my previous Maxxis Bighorn Mts.

How is the fitment of the TJM snorkel around the fender any gaps? 2013-2015 have wider fenders and the Safari and knockoff safaris I have seen have some gaps that I can't live with.

no it snugs perfectly - ill post a close up.

OK, lets share some things i did earlier this summer.

there has been so many posts lately on the 4-way systems - inflation and deflation of 4 tires simultaneously - and i boarded the band wagon too, earlier this year and bought the first module from Pressure Perfect - Rugged Connect

Word of advice (Never buy the first prototypes !!)

So i have the ARB-twin cylinder with tank portable compressor and i thought of a portable 4-way air system for my rig. the module came with a basic wiring diagram. so i went ahead to put them together. I was in for a long summer testing !

Firstly the provided manual didn't mention using any air-tanks or whether it can handle the high-pressures from such air-tanks. so when we coupled it - the module just didn't work and kept giving error - check air connections. i started to correspond with the PressurePerfect guys and through their UAE agent , RAMY4x4 (great company) - they promised to send me me an additional air-solenoid to be used with the air-tank. that came in for free , so that was nice of RAMY4x4. so we attached the air-solenoid between the tank and the module - module acts as the outlet and inlet from the tires and in theory should shut of the supply from air-tank when tires have reached the desired pressure.

the problem was - the module wasn't even opening - and continuously gives error - check air connection.

we decided to pressure-rate the solenoids - the silvery one attached to the module and the additional one that came afterwards. Unfortunately both were low rated and couldn't handle the pressure from the air tank. so decided to strip them both out and use the ARB solenoids used for Airlocker ! thats a small beast rated unto 150psi.

Wired everything up with the high-pressure hoses and tried to make it as clean and snuggly fit in the ARB box. initial tests were promising. the module started to work and we started with testing of inflating 1-tire. it was quick and neat. then we tried out 2-tires. its worked fine and finally i used a 3-way coupler to inflate 3 tires.

After testing through the summer and this season beginning - i upgraded to 4-tire inflation using a 4-way coupler and it takes an average of 7mins to fill 4 tires from 13psi to 33psi !!

Now the pressure perfect guys have a new shaped module - don't know if its any better and they compensated for air-pressure tanks ! but Ramy4x4 (Ramy Automotive | ramyautomotive.com )guys in UAE can definitely install a complete system on your rig !

Some pictures below in sequence of testing and deployment !

The initial problem - always - check air connection !

We hooked up the provided Air-Solenoid - but still it was not working.

We removed the air-tank line and tested the module directly with the compressor - and it worked - the problem was with the high pressure tank line.

This was finally the ARB Airlocker high-pressure rated solenoid we ended up using.

This silvery solenoid attached to the module was removed.

Everything wired up and we started the testing phase (Inflation ONLY) with the tires. 1,2,3,4, tires.. simultaneously and check for air-leaks etc.

Initial testing were 2 tires and it held up nicely - inflation was super fast however the Air Chucks were leaking !.

IMG_20170205_202142.jpg

First field test - inflation from 12PSI to 32 PSI took about 7-8 mins but i had leaking air chucks which needed replacement. also as soon as you put the air-line to the tire - it will deflate back into the tank ! so it was like - start the tank - run the module and quickly attach the flow lines to the tires.. was still testing the system, !

!

And finally the 4-way inflation using a 4-way coupler from Amazon. Was tested to fill 12 tires in less than 20mins. the air-flow lines are currently carried in a separate bag with the ARB compressor box.

One of the issues is that when you connect the air-flow line - the tire starts to deflate obviously and by the time you walk around to put all the four-air flow lines - you would have completely deflated your first two tires. So decided to put check valves before the chuck - i haven't tested them yet, but it should work !?

And yes for the chucks - ARB chucks they sucks - I got power tank chucks - open ones and they snug tightly to the valve and don't leak.

---

VIAIR check valves - placed before the chucks. before and after.

Leaky-flimsy ARB chuck versus the Beefy Powertank chuck !

Yesterday my central locking and the rear windows were not working from the driver console. The error was B2325 LIN communication bus .. any one has clues ? The windows work from their individual buttons and central locking works with the remote. Something weird with the driver console... Checked all fuses and even the console connections...

Any pointers!!
Did you ever figure this out. I have the same problem.

Added LC100 to fill the vacant garage space and it was such a pleasure. Manual tranny , 6cyl with beautiful Rustic Green and ended up driving it more than my LC200. Two different platforms but both very capable vehicles.

Looking forward to LC300 !
