Is this a truck tire? What size do you drive and what are its speed and load indexes? Is Siam by any chance a Michelin-Siam tire company? Then I might get lucky and be able to order them in Europe. What is the exact name of this tire?

no its sand tire for 4wd ..

i use 16-9.00 .. thats nearly 285/85 - 16 ..

like i said it come in 16,17-9.00 6 or 8ply .. and the 15 come in 15-8.00 6ply .. in 35 psi street use ..

best for sand 12-15psi

load .. i dont know .. speed i saw some 4wd gose over 220 with it .. i think its 180-200 max.

..

its heavy in the start but run well over 140 km/h .. and it change the speed meter little bit .. maybe -3 or -5 km/h ..

the tire name is siam tire ..

we have other tire look the same .. like .. dunlop .. bridgeston .. shahen .. the best in order:

1-siam
2-shahen
3-bridgeston
4-dunlop

siam is the orginal one ..

bridgeston and dunlop .. developed the same design after siam .. and done it wrong .. :)

but there bad side in all this tire .. when you stop your ride for long time .. like when you go to bed and wake up again .. they shake the hell off you in the start .. cause that .. the baloon shape off the tire .. but when it heat up all the shake gone ..

This is less than a stock tyre, which can carry arround 2600 lbs. I'd love to have them, but I'm affraid I'd have too many punctures with a fully loaded car on a piste.
So all you have are streets and dunes? ;)
I guess I'll just get BFG A/T for my next trip to Lybia.

hahhahahh ..

i dont advice ab=ny body to use this tire in long traveling destance ..

Pirelli is the best .. :D

I've done a bit of searching, and:
Siam tire is owned by Michelin and Siam Cement.
BF Goodrich is also owned by Michelin.
These tires behave exactly the same as Baja T/A tires (they also develop flat spots like you described). The size of the tire on the picture could be 235/85R16. Baja T/A in this size is used by all teams that use BFGoodrich on Paris Dakar Rally. So it seems to me, that Siam tires could be Baja T/A with a different thread pattern.

ya .. they look much the same with different thread .. and its said 9.00-16 .. i dont know how much is that .. but sure not 235 .. its 275 or 285 .. i know you can use it on 10inch rims ..

I love the turbo setups.

Do the guys in Qatar use the standard toyota headgasket in the turbo applications? Or are people using copper or Multi layer steel headgaskets. Are there any internet technical forums running currently with the guys from Qatar.

It also looked like two very different turbo setups on two diffrent versions of the 1FZ-FE. I think the coil on plug is the updated version of the engine. Do you have any further information on either turbo setup?

Thanks

EL_3,

Nice 100s, are these Cruisers 100 or 105? Can you please show us the dash and interior if you have pictures?

BTW, I'm going to UAE next year, we will stop first at Jebel Ali, then to Dubai and of course, I will take an all day Safari tour in a Land Cruiser. I love those red sand dunes and hills:grinpimp:
