You went to the Iditarod?

FYI: I've got a buddy that lives up in Denver - two actually. If ever y'all spot some up that way, I can send a scout to look at them. Then our domination of the world's cruisers would be even CLOSER!

I was driving to my flag football game tonight and saw a blue or gray (it was dark) 60 coming the other way. We gave each other the wave. Is that one of our guys?

Haven't met him that I know of. Leo Michaud has a camo 60, I need to track him down. We talked to his brother Johnny last time we were at Sam's and he said he still had it.

He recognized my rig too and waved right when I did. That's why I thought he may have been to a meeting or something since i know there are a few 60s guys out there. He was probably wondering what I was doing going out into the hood.

Did you wonder why he was coming from the hood?

Early 70's FJ40 spotted behind Walmart, and Oil Field related office. Very clean and mostly stock. Will pass by tomorrow to drop a card if its there. :)

I saw this one yesterday at the gas station by school. Looked to be getting some work done on it. I was running late and couldn't pull in to chat about it. We'll track him down.

Good deal, we need to catch up to him. :)

not a cruiser, but there is a really nice unimog parked here near LSU. its right on one of the lakes and has been parked there for a few weeks. the thing looks brand new.

Unimog's are sweet. I'd love to get my hands on one as well. Made by Mercedes. Big diesel power, huge tires & clearance, can pull 12000 + lbs. Several running around in the East Tennessee mountains

I've got a friend here in the Berry that has a late model Unimog with every conceivable PTO attachment . There are 4 PTO attachment points and the rear bed tilts 3 ways. One neat feature is that it has a sliding steering console. That's right, you can drive the thing from either side of the cab. It is really one bad mofo.

I'd like to see that, your right about them being one bad mofo. I've seen them go through some serious stuff. Check out the Big Rig version.

yea, its pretty much like that first one you posted, though single cab. same bed and color. pretty impressive when you get up close to them, especially lookin out the window of a 100 series and you're lookin at the steps to get into the cab. ive also seen a nice yellow one in mandeville a few years ago

I used to see one riding around New Iberia alot. I saw it while they were building this property up for a home on Hwy182. They are impressive indeed.

I seen one last night leaving work about 9:30. It was camo with a winch on the front. Anyone seen it before. It looked real good as I was rolling down my window droolling as I passed it.....

I asked today about that blue 60 parked downtown at Festival. There was a note on the dash saying he had permission from one of OLF's parents to park in there so I asked the wife. She's going to find out and tell me who it is tomorrow. That was a good looking rig.

X2 very clean and the blue color on the 60 looked awesome. :)

I passed one of these on my way to work this week. OD green single cab with a canvas cover over teh back. He was tkaing it easy at 50-55mph on I12. I used to see lots of these when deployed to Turkey. The Brits drove them all over. I didn't know what it was but thought it was really cool.
