hi i am in the process of rebuilding my front axle and have discovered that one of my one of birfield is cracked in 3 spots. i dont really want to put it back in but time is kind of an issue.
there happens to be a set of axles from an 85 4runner where i am. the spline count(30) is the same and so is the diameter(31.59mm). the only thing is that the splines are more worn on the 4runner birf
i am wondering if this has been done before and/or if this can work
(((i can also try to overnight (for monday) for birfield joint from marlin(160$) )))
