LC 78 Water Problem

Gents,

I have a 2008 78 series that runs on a 1HZ engine. It is basically a safari vehicle used in the Serengeti very often for tourists. Over the past couple of safaris, it has been losing water from the radiator. There are no signs of heating in the gauge or the engine. After every 150-200 Kms or so, the water level in the radiator drops and requires refilling.

Any suggestions?

Check all rad hoses and heater hoses first, look for crusty junk or wet spots, make sure clamps are in the right spot.
Give the rad a good eyeball check as there may be a pin hole.
Start with the easy stuff and carry extra coolant till you figure this out.

For peace of mine replace your upper and lower rad hoses first.
Make sure you check things out while engine is cold and when hot and running.
