Hey everyone,
Some stats about the car:
Symptoms:
When braking to a stop (especially gently), the vehicle sometimes makes a thud and stops suddenly, like something grabs or locks.
On taking off again in 1st gear (without using the accelerator), it can feel like the car is being held back, as if a brake is partially stuck.
These issues are intermittent, and more noticeable after the vehicle has been sitting overnight.
Work Done:
I guess the intermittent nature makes this a tricky one to pin down, but I'm hoping someone here has seen this before or has an idea.
Any suggestions or thoughts are really appreciated

Work Done:
- Rear left wheel bearing recently replaced (issue started after this).
- Inspected by original mechanic and another shop — they say everything looks fine:
- Brake drums, shoes, cylinders, diff, suspension, bushings all checked.
- Brake shoes replaced in 2022.
