I'm not 100% sure what I am hearing, but there is a groaning noise at low speeds, and at a stop coming from the driver side front wheel. Doesn't seem to happen at high speeds. I was thinking LBJ but they have less than 5,000 miles on them but so does pretty much everything else on the front end.

new lca, uca, cv axle, flange, wheel bearing, rack and pinion, sway bar bushings and links.

Only thing I haven't replaced really is the hydraulic rams and the upper and lower bushings for the AHC (2001 LX)

Anyone have any ideas from this video on what it might be?

thx,
Tyler

Lower ball joints, fail often.

Notice they very small amount of movement into LCA. Any movement they're bad.

This video show a lot of movement. Which makes much easy to spot bad LBJ.

2 ways to replace Lower Ball Joint (LBJ). Either replace the LBJ, w//aftermarket. Or Replace Lower control arm (LCA), to get OEM LBJ.

I suspect the lower AHC "shock" bushing. If it is blown, the shock will rub against the the fore part of the LCA-to-shock bracket.

@2001LC @hoser

Spent some time under the body with a friend today, it appears to be the LCA #2 bushing (frame mounted). You can feel the "pop" in that area and see about 1/4" of movement. I think hoser you had recommended that to me before when I was having a separate issue with a tie rod. At least I know what it is now, from what I can tell those bushings are a PITA to remove.
