Yes boys and girls, it's the Holy Grail of Land Cruisers, the legendary FJ25, this is a 1960 model no rust holes at all.

Wow, amazing find...story?

The Holy Grail.............found me.....in casual conversation, it was mentioned this guy had a really old Land Cruiser.............after work I drove out just a few miles from our farm ..my first to ever see in person......and soon it will be mine.....this is a 1960 model no rust holes at all...........
Last run in 91, clutch quit and the trans/t case are in his garage.............few unique FJ25 items missing ....16''wheels and the soft top bows

thats very cool i bet it will still run like a top. i had a guy call me about 5 years ago saying he had some old Toyota jeep in his shop (jeep masters) that some old man dropped off. he wanted to know if i wanted to buy it for $300.00. i told him to tel me a little bit about it. after what all he told me i told him i would take it. i had a tow truck go pick it up for me and bring it to the shop. just as he told me it had it had rounded door's like a cj-5. well it ended up being a 1960 fj-25 complete. it had been sitting for almost 30 years with out running. so i turned the motor over by hand & it was free so i hooked up a fresh battery to it and new gas and the old girl started right up. smoked for a bit but then ran like a top. i was going to restore it but times got hard so i sold it to a lady in Portland were she has about 6 of them that she keeps in her front yard as art.
fj-25's are by far the coolest cruisers out there.
congrats on your fine i hope to see it on the road some day.

X2 on what crotalusatrox wrote. there is a guy on mud that is keeping track of these old cruiser. he told me mine was shipped into Huston and was 1 of 300 for that year.

here is the old mub post on it https://forum.ih8mud.com/chit-chat-section/18209-1960-fj-25-a.html
