If you have not already, make this next on your list of "to-do's" on the Cruiser! Best bang for the $$ you are going to find for your Cruiser.

I was lucky enough that I only live about 70 miles from Rick and he was able to do the install on my seat yesterday while I watched, learned, cleaned grease and fetched  's Everything goes on easily, just follow his supplied directions. The quality of the kit is top-notch as well. On the ride back, I was able to stretch my legs out fully (I'm 6'2") which made the ride much more pleasant. In fact, there was more travel available then what I personally would need. The seat still is adjustable forward for other drivers. As an added bonus, the seat is raised ~ an inch, which my :princess: will like over the stock set-up, but for those who are taller, the height adjustment can be dropped back down.

Looking forward to many comfortable miles. Thanks LandTank!

Cool feedback. How about adding this to the best bang for the buck thread linked through the FAQs?

This should be at the top of the bang for the $$ list ..... add it to the FAQ.

Got into the truck tonight with tired legs after walking 18 at the local course and was reminded how nice it was to have the extra room. Do yourself a favor and get some leg room.

Thanks for the praise Nate. I don't know if it should go at the top of the list unless there is a height disclaimer. Personally I modded my seats 5 years, 140k miles ago. That's a lot of miles if you are a little cramped in the seat.

I know have a pretty good install doc, my camera has some problems focussing on shiney surfaces so some pics are a little blurry. But if any one would like to see it send me a PM with your e-mail address and I can get it out to you. I'm aware of 1 person who bought a kit from the first batch who subsequently sold it. I would hate for someone to purchase the kit and feel they are in over their head in trying to install it. The kit basically moves the chair on the rails not the chair on the floor. So it is a little involved. I think it took me about 2 hours with beer and BSing to get it done.
