Iam 6" 190 lbs. ;)

I'd suggest you find someone with them to try first. They're perfect for me, but I'm 5'10" 175lbs. The side bolstering in the seat bottom might be an issue, it's quite prominent, so if you have a wider back end, you might feel a bit wedged in.

I put a set of FJ 100 seats in mine. The good and bad includes:
attachment points closest to the console and front mount perfectly.
attachment points closest to the door and front mount in the existing holes, just need to be driled out and replaced with schedule 8 bolts, will need several washers to build up the mounting point, but can be secured well.
attachment points to the rear of the seats are the challenge, those will require drilling through the floor pan and I used a piece of steel plating behind the bolts to be sure it is was secure to the floor. Again, all new schedule 8 hardware.
Advantages, power and heated seats, nice headrests, arm rests, far more comfortable, lots of leg room.
Disadvantages, having to mount through the floor pan, eliminates center console due to the spacing, crowds the hand brake and had to make some slight modifications to make it more useful. Had to reverse the seatbelts (attachment points mounted to the floor behind the console area)
Safety, moved the seat slightly back behind the B post/column and further away from the dash.
Issues that could be (a) disadvantage(s): if you are vertically challenged, you will not be close enough to drive it. I am 6'1" and love the legroom, and have some adjustability if needed. I won't comment on my wife's anatomy but in case she had more seat to put in a seat, these will accomodate it! It does crowd the rear seat because it reduces the space between the front and back seats by approximately 3 inches from stock.
I have a few photos if you follow the link on my build, nothing of great detail but it will give you a look at what FJ 100 seats look like in a 60. I had these from a previous project. If I was buying something just for this rig and had nothing to start from, I would look for a set of seats from an extended cab pick up truck, or a convertable (seatbelt is self contained from the shoulder to the waist), leaving you with a measuring tape and trying to see which would be the best for the mounts there. One other word of caution, some seats have air bags in the seat, if you want them to hook up to after market sensors, may be fine but either way, I would keep that in mind.
Hope that helps,
Randy

I have a set of the Procar seats I am trying to get in, and the rails won't fit on one of them. The holes are 1 cm off on both rails :( Very frustrating.

Are you using the Procar rails, or the Cruiser rails. I used the Cruiser rails, and IIRC, had to ream out or lengthen a couple of the holes, but nothing drastic.

The cruiser rails. I drilled out the holes a bit, I was just hoping to have them done over lunch. Not a big deal. I think I was just being exceptionally b#$&chy because I was in the rain, and having a bad day. It's actually pretty friggen cool how easy these seats were to match up!

I had to slightly enlarge one hole on each seat.

Front Seat Mod?

Guys, any one see something like this, is this normal? Look at the right side (center of truck) I bought this rig back in January, and while I was tightening the seat bolts I noticed this strange mod, looks like the seats were moved, notice the other holes. They are Toyota seats and match...and both have this same mod

Leather out of Celica GT.

Not too bolstered so easy to get in and out without crushing bolster. Simple fab for mounting.

Comfortable and cheap.

My friend’s Dad is a Toyota Master mechanic. We were dropping off his 4Runner to get a trany cooler and I noticed a lot of used seats sitting around in all the mechanic bays. I asked my friend’s Dad what all the used seats were doing and he said that there was a recall on them. He said that the side curtain airbag inside the actual seats did not work and the seats are pretty much trash now. The mechanics use them as lounge chairs.

If your friendly or know someone working at Toyota you might be able to get seats for your 60 series. Yes, there is a lot of work to get the brackets to match and to wire into the actual seat controls but they are free. I picked one up for free and was able to wire it in with success. It also had seat heaters! So I got a free chair with seat heater installed. At the least you could pick up a used chair and cannibalize the heating element out of it to put into your seats.

This mod is not for those who want something bolt in. It takes a lot of time to look into the wiring of the chair and also to figure out new brackets. If there is enough interest in this I will post pics of the chair I installed. It is tan and does not match my grey 62 but I care about comfort, not looks. There were grey chairs when I went back so I’m kinda hunting for another set that is grey.

Closing advice: get to know a mechanic well at Toyota. They tear out wiring harness and parts all the time and either horde them or throw them away. Knowing these people would allow access to free parts. I’m working on getting a few wiring harnesses from them for the connectors alone.

I highly doubt they'd let a seat with a defective airbag sitting in it back out in the public. Somebody could lose a job over something like that, and with the economy like it is...

That's why I said you'd have to be friends. And I have one to prove it.

Touche.

I left myself open on that one.
