Nice headlights! Do you have HID bulbs as well? How is the light output?

Rig looks great, the original wheels are an engineering feat in themselves--capable of running into a cement berm at 40mph head on and not break or bend. Something like that--anyway, they're capable of holding a lot more weight than aftermarket wheels too--reliability and safety is one reason why a lot of regular off-road cruiser owners don't change these out. IMHO, I say Black them out and throw them back on there.

I agree and still have the factory wheels. Just haven't had time to get them powder coated satin black. I bought the tires and the wheels just came with them.

They are HID in the low beams and work very well. These were on the truck when I bought it and I believe they are a cheaper set but I have no idea on the maker.

Just got it back from Baertrax. Had them install 4.88's and an ARB airlocker in the rear.

Looks good. Do you have any pictures of where the compressor was mounted? I grew up in Greenville, you know where that is! @zona, I have also lived in Gilbert, AZ when I worked for Intel in Chandler… small world for us Land Cruiser guys!

I am 20 miles west of Greenville! I have a second battery which relocated my washer bottle to the passenger rear of the engine compartment. They fab'd up a bracket to put it next to the washer bottle.

Thanks!!! One reason is money and the other is all the off-roading I do is for hunting. I don't feel I need a front locker at the moment. If that changes then I'll start saving more pennies.

Not sure where the Glock comment came from? Anyways, won't the compressor get super hot there? Seems like the absolute hottest location possible on the entire vehicle to mount it. I see 160*+ intake air temps. Is that compressor able to take that +*? Btw, I'm jealous of that rear locker. I've got an Aussie but if I had the coin I'd of gone ARB.

I believe the Glock comment came from one of the first pictures there is a Glock next to the e-brake.

As far as heat on the compressor goes a reputable shop didn't have a problem putting it there and they have to warranty it so I'm guessing it's ok.

I'm trying to break the gears in right so I really haven't seen how big of a difference they made but driving around town so far I really like them. I will report back once I get more time/miles on them. I am curious to see what it's going to do to my MPG's. I was getting 13.7 avg per tank(hand calculated) with 60-70% hwy driving
