Nice shots guys. Checking them out really helped bum me out over not being able to make a single run this year. Just wait till next year! (yeah, right...)

The year ain't over yet Norm! And just to make you feel better, I've only had my 40 out once, and that was just to Cruiser Days, and then back home.

I think the absence of kids helps the wheeling prospects. :(

Ya Jeff but how many times have you been out with your new Toy. Some guys get all the best jobs with long weekends off and regular summer vacations. The last real wheeling I did was when Kim and I went out to Hale. Oh, I did get off road at the Airshow and even found some mud.

Our policy is that kids are normally welcome on our runs. Some runs, such as next year's Chilcotin 7-10 day trip may not be suitible for younger children.
Our Fall Mount Cheam trip is usually fine for kids, although last year was bad due to an unexpected snow storm.

Bill, I wasn't saying that kids are unwelcome, I know they are. I'm just saying that it is very difficult to get out on these overnight runs, as a married man with four kids and way too many schedules to juggle.

I understand its very difficult for married people with kids to grab any time for themselves. In the complex society we find ourselves in, our time is divided and parceled into small segments where we find ourselves frantically running around, trying desperately to do too much in too little time. We are stretched too thin, and the result is that we become unhappy with this ongoing relentless stress of demands. This creates fatigue, guilt, depression, and ultimately damages marriage relationships.

However, having said that, one must put priorities on our time and energy budgets. Always remember that off-road wheeling is of the HIGHEST order in life, and that jobs, wives, and families are of secondary importance! And if you believe all this s***, I have a rust-free Lada 4WD for sale for you to enjoy....:D

Well, parhaps a bit of rust. It needs a little tender loving care from a craftsman such as yourself. These vehicles were built to the highest Russian technical and professional standards and were well-proven all over the U.S.S.R. before that country's unfortuanate and untimely manufacturing collapse. Lada symbolized the true competative spirit of Mother Russia! Picture included; make me an offer! :p
NOTE: Shipping not included: item located in Eastern Siberia near Kamchika salt basin.
