Kzt swapped 70 is gutless,

Hi guys, not been here In a while, but due to blown diff in the 90, I've been using the 70 while it's repaired, normally this is used off road, but now I've been using if for towing trailers I've realised just how gutless it is, so something must be faulty, it feels like it's getting a misfire under load, and is generally better at about 2/3 throttle, anymore and it seems to die faster. So I'm suspecting the injectors are faulty, but has anyone else had this issue? It's had new fuel lift pump, new fuel filter, new tank pickup pipes.

I will be replacing all the fuel pipes from tank to lift pump tomorrow, but this was originally a 2.4 and had the kzt lump installed by previous owner, so I dont know if everything is wored up correctly , rev counter doesn't work, so where do I pick the feed up from please? And for some reason the coolant gauge stopped working 2 days ago, was working fine, can't see a wire to the green connector on the block, however I also can't see any loose wire either, could it be picking temp signal up from somewhere else?
