Finally had time to mess with injector pump and try a different settings, I had left it way to retarded last time I replaced the IP , drove well around town as daily driver but on steep hills on the mountains it felt like I was getting starvation and some white smoke, and with cold weather starts was almost like would start only 3 cylinders for 1st second then would be fine almost like the glow plugs were going bad .

After advancing the IP little by little and test it out I think I found the perfect setting, on highway will easily stay 70- 75 mph just fathering the gas pedal , no more temperature climbing going up big hills its basically a hole different truck now.

Glad you got the IP timing figured out. Just monitor it carefully in summer when the weather gets warmer to ensure it's not advanced to much. When intake air temps (IATs) get higher, it's hard on the motor if timing is advanced too much (high cylinder pressure as diesel will ignite too much before TDC).

The electronic version monitors IATs, and advances when cold, retards when warm. The mechanical version is usually timed conservatively to cover all basis. My electronic diesel gains tons of power in winter, and looses it in summer partly due to the computer changing timing.

Nice to see the offroad pics. So few people in north america seem to actually take their light duty 70 series off road. With the right suspension setup, they're actually very capable rigs.

The BF tires that I got on my stock wheels are so much better for daily drive . keeping the more aggressive tire only to off road for now

Yes, All Terrains are awesome.
I have Toyo mud terrains now to see how they work and they are far worse on paved road.
