Ko2 vs grabber atx in 285 65 18 what to buy

I have used the ATX in LT285/65r18 on my LC. It was Extremely quiet on the highway and city streets. Any E rated all terrain will have negative impacts on MPGs. I was pleasantly surprised by the ATXs on road manners. For a more serious or a dedicated off road tire Id look elsewhere, I much prefer the Kenda Klever RTs. They are noisier on the highway and city streets but substantially better in all off road conditions. My only experience with K02s is on a different vehicle that isn’t full time 4wd so it’s hard to directly compare the two. I’d give the edge to the ATX in wet conditions with the K02 being better/tougher off road.

You'll find some naysayers, but I've generally been pretty happy with my Duratracs, especially when it comes to snow...that being said I think that you should also create a thread checking on Regular vs Premium fuel, that topic hasn't been covered much either.

Had General Grabbers till 55k miles and they were SILENT. General Grabbers > KO2s

I have had each tire type (KO2s on a 80 series and ATx on 100 series) and I concur with this assessment.

UPDATE. Thanks for responses. I got atx and put some miles on them. I like them better than ko2.
