Just about done cleaning my birf housing and other misc parts. I used LA’s awesome degreaser and engine degreaser to aid removal of built up gunk. Do I need to clean with a different solvent to make sure the new grease will not get contaminated? Or if is it fine as long as its dry?

I just wiped the birfs clean because I did not disassemble them and did not want to leave any degreaser inside of it

you could wipe it out with acetone, which should flash off.
or use everyones favorite solvent: wd40 (just kidding do not)

Gawd no, please don't "clean" anything with WD40. Denatured alcohol will remove any solvents residue and will not contaminate the surface for grease use later. Most degreasers are weak lye solutions and dye , and neither soak into the metal unless you leave it there for an extended period of time.
