How high of lift demand these?
IM FCP tends to afford 2.5 to 3" rear gain, and people typically set from over 2", more.like 2.5"

For KDSS: Dobs lift is about 2 front and under 2 rear.

So, it's recommended for IM FCP, but would it be needed or the Dobs, which was arguably designed with KDSS in mind..... 🤔

I have the IM FCP lift and I have it damn near maxed out and I am not running these, yet!

I'm running an OME 2.5" and had the lean before these.

I have lean too (stock) my question is how much lift can KDSS handle and still afford increased articulation over non KDSS and how much lift is too much for KDSS and start impinging the increased articulation... In other words, how much lift truly necessitates a KDSS sway bar spacer?

I drove/tested a non KDSS GX on the 2ish" Dobinson lift and it may have more flex/articulation that my stock KDSS rig (which has more than non KDSS). Would I get that back with a sub2" lift?
Sounds like the folks with ironman FCP are getting >2" lift, but getting track bar bind and sway bar contact to skids. Ergo, >2" may be too much for KDSS (some more knowd folks are probably rolling eyes with sayings of, " yup, that's the flaw of KDSS, future suspension limitations.") 😁😆

@Tex68w
Do you still get the added articulation KDSS affords with that sway bar mobility?
Do you flex/droop your suspension to its limits on trails, a lot of people don't...
I do but on a stock suspension with front leveling pucks

Doing these spacers and the panhard relocation puts it like it was stock but with the lift, granted skid plate considerations must be made. I'm still glad I have a sport because its mid travel from the factory, just requires some finesse to get it right. I'll probably get an ASFIR skid and cut it personally.

I don't have my panhard relocated currently but I have had no issues with bind so far.

@Bubbles
remind me your setup. sport, with which lift/mods (bumpers? body mount chop? wheel spacers/rims. 👍

Who makes the lanyard relocation bracket?

OME 2.5" lift, Treaty Oak KDSS spacers, stock trimmed front bumper, stock trimmed rear bumper, no BMC. Sequoia 17" wheels with spidertrax spacers and 255/75R17 KM3s

@DRANGED
I got KDSS with IM FCP with 2.5" front (performance spring) 2" rear with Constant. I have a RTT, run with 33s and 1.25" spacer. I have about 1" lean to passenger, and my panhard hitting the current RSB mount.

Fix 1: PCK installation to correct panhard position. It still hit the RSB but allow a bit more articulation prior to the hit. I definitely can tell the improvement on the side-to-side movement of my rig. It is very obvious since i have heavy load, RTT, on top of my car.

Fix2: (on the way) @Kyle Fogle my new set of KDSS spacer should be home soon. I hope with it and combination of the PCK, it fixes
a. the notorious kdss LEAN. for me that 1" lean.
b. the hitting of panhard on my RSB mount.

I really like the extra travel of KDSS and the stability added for my heavy rig as well as RTT on-road. I hope it will be corrected soon.

good question. My Panhard bar binds with sway when full extension so I am getting it for that
i have 2 inch rear lift from ironman
only 2-in rear lift? I thought their kits were 2 and 1/2 to 3-in lift.

For the rear, i think it is 2". The front can go from 2-3".
tht makes sense. 2" is perfect, i'd be more hesitant if it were closer to 3", I couldn't fit in my garage anymore...

Mine at 2-2.5" on 285/70's and a roof rack no longer fits in the garage :/

So.2"rear 2.5 front?

Roughly 2-2.25” in the front with the HD Ironman springs, bumper and 9500lb winch after settling and 2.5-2.75” in the rear with standard springs, full size spare inside and 3rd row seats removed (-100lbs). There’s still a 1/2” rake ass high and likely will remain that way until I add a rear bumper and/or drawers and aux tank. Odds are I’ll have to go to the heavier springs out back as well as I add weight back there.

So consistent load springs? And then moving to the heavier springs, or are you on performance springs moving to consistent?
Yeah, that sort of confirms that the lift provided is a little bit higher than I want. I'd like to stay at 2:00 if not a under but getting closer to 3:00 is too much for my wants... 😩

I see your head on picture and page two do you have any profile or off angle shots?

Here are some photos of the spacer on the rear. The front has not installed yet.

The rear axle housing is from 2011 FJ 8.2 with custom welded Jeep bracket to support KDSS sway bar mount.

It finally cleared the panhard rubbing at kdss swaybar and also adding additional .5"-1" droop from original (my estimate, not sure correct just from look while on lift vs before).

Rears are performance load.
