KDSS Light (1 Viewer)

I have a 2010 Lexus GX - and the KDSS light comes on very sporadically and not consistently. Some days it won't come on at all, and other days it turns on after driving the car 100ft. Handling appears and feels fine, and prior owner history revealed that at some point the KDSS system had some repair and an accumulator was replaced. I don't want to sink any more $ into the vehicle...but curious to know what would be the issue that would warrant a sporadic light turning on...and is there a way to shut off the KDSS light?

You can pull the codes via OBD port with a wire and blink pattern of the KDSS light


Remember OBD port is actually upside down from the description
and will look like this under the dash

Only realistic time a KDSS light being on while vehicle is running is if you have bypass installed..otherwise a problem that needs to be fixed

KDSS Manual Switch

@dr_kdss figured out which terminals to break and is producing a plug and play harness. He is also producing factory style switches. This will allow you to be in kdss mode to give you more flex above 12mph auto threshold. pretty cool if you ask me.
