KDSS basically disengages/engages the "sway bar" via electronics/hydraulics for good articulation and great handling on the pavement... best of both worlds. The next generation 4runner is supposed to have KDSS available as an option.

I understood KDSS to be fully hydraulic...no electronics at all. What do the electronics do in the system, nothing is regulated?

The GX470 has an electronic version... 200 is full hydraulic.
