Getting ready to to a front end rebuild and wondering if I show throw on new sway bar end links. They're not in expensive, but seem like a wear item. Anyone replace them and find the originals were fine?

There are a few other rubber bits that look worthy of replacement at 175k. Easy are the stabilizer bar bushings (48815-60260). The KDSS Arm looks like it has a non-serviceable bushing in the middle where the KDSS actuator connects. For this, the $400 arm would require replacement. Probably not going to do that unless this bushing is a known wear point.

The passenger side shows two part numbers, both date ranges are outside of my build date (7/12). Both parts show as compatible for my 2013 on tpd website. Anyone know what the difference might be?

I am in the process of the same thing...

I ordered both new sway bar links, mine are toast, can visibly see the rubber is totally shot. Can feel it too.

Take a close look at yours, where the rubber is, if its cracked, replace them, cheap enough.

Was also curious about the KDSS arm as well, since i will be in there.

Odd about the different part # for different years.

I get most of my stuff through OLATHE TOYOTA and their website shows identical part #s for all years, just checked.

Probably. check your bushings and if they have developed any cracks (typically circular from the twisting forces) then it's not a bad idea to replace them. That said, mine looked pretty shot but even after replacing them I don't feel there's any difference in handling.

Same. I think the cracking was mostly superficial in my case. Still glad to have those off the list though.
