Is there one in particular that you guys prefer to head to first? Meaning they have a good selection of toyota stuff, and/or are resasonable to deal with.

U-Wrench-It is the only one I have any experience with. Cheap, but they don't get a lot of Toyota trucks.

Looking for seats, front fenders, rear tail gate w/ glass, all for an 85 4Runner.

A ton of stuff :)

Due to rust, I doubt you'll find any decent sheet metal in the junk yards in this area. You'll have to go with new aftermarket or used parts from the southwest or CA.

As for seats, many japanese imports from the late 80s or early 90s have seats that are either bolt-in or can be made to work with a little modification. I have Celica seats in my truck. Zane has a nice set of Honda Prelude seats in his 40.

Randy,

I purchased my 1991 Honda Prelude SI seats from Rich Industries located just west of the Chiefs stadium off of I-435. They take all of the good seats out of the cars that come in and store them in there attic. Mine are in brand new condition and I paid less than $100 for the pair. U-Wrinch-it is dirt cheaper, but that’s because you get dirt all over the seats you buy from them! Ha.... All kidding aside, some have found good seat there for a steel, just hit and miss.

toyota truck and 4-runner parts

If you need any toyota truck and 4-runner parts, my partner Jim Wales, who lost a big yard in denver through divorce, has another yard and his prices are GREAT!
Most yards can't even compete with his prices. Call him or email us. We will be coming to a website soon!!

Randy, you might try certi-fit for the fenders, i think they want $40 each. I priced them when I repainted my truck. the fit and quality is not so great but for non rusted fenders they are great. As for pick 'n pull, a 4runner will show up for about every 20 pickups you see which show up maybe one a week. That Allied Self serve junk yard down by the rail yards seem to turn over new parts vehicles rather slow from what I have seen.

Well I have decided to put off the fenders for awhile. I just trimmed the rust off for now.

My plan is take the fenders off Alex's 4Runner when he's not looking :D
