It will not fit a 75. Kaymar makes a bar for the 75 and that is the one I used on my 74. The wings are much shorter and do not have forward brackets. Also the brackets that go forward and bolt to the bottom of the frame are longer. Those have to be cut off to put it on a 70, 71 ,73, 74.View attachment 1929177

Hi Dan I hate to disagree with you but these will fit on a 75/78 with a few minor mods on the brackets. I have just bought 3 of these and will use one on my troopy in the US, another on a troopy in Belgium and the third one will be for sale ;-)

Here are a few pics of a company in Europe that mounted a 76 bumper on a 78.

I'm not Ward but I will take your word for it.

I can tell you that lt will not work on a short or mid unless you were to cut the wings down.

Sorry Dan I was doing 3 thinghs at the same time and by now I should know I am not capable of that without screwing up somewhere;-)

And yes I agree that it won’t fit the swb or mwb without cutting those wings

Followed along on this and it looks like a nice bumper. I had initially contacted Kaymar about a bumper for my 75 but at the time there didn't seem to be much interest in shipping to the U.S.

I will have a rear bumper installed within the next day or so that was purchased from Cruiser Outfitters. I will post on my thread the impression. It does not have coverage of the rear rocker so I'll likely have to figure that out.

Thanks for posting this....looks very nice and Kaymar has a

The 76 has winglets which don’t have to be used to fit the bar and are not structurally integral to proper function. On a Troopy the wings may be short enough to not require cutting.

The Troopy has the longest rear overhang so there would be no reason to cut the wings.

Edit: I was able to see the photo I was asking about. I just missed it earlier when scrolling through the thread.
