I think we need to send them some shirts from Round Up too!
I'll bring a "Have a Great Day" card and flat rate box. We can get folks to sign it at the registration table.
Another thought would be to sign a T shirt for Karis. What color are the shirts this year? I know the mechanics shirts are dark blue.

She's doing ok. I'm just nervous about how much weight she has lost. I think the last I heard she was about 35 pounds. This is the last updated her mom posted on caring bridge on 3/4:

Karis is almost half way through with her radiation treatments. Only 16 more to go! Lately Karis has been so tired. Unfortunately, this is a common side effect of radiation. She received blood this past Thursday. Her hemoglobin was still the same, 7.5, but her WBC's increased quite a bit so that was good. Her weight dropped a little and if she doesn't show improvement by tomorrow, they will be placing a nasogastric tube for her to get feedings. She did start to improve over the weekend and started a couple new medications. One is called Megace and it is supposed to stimulate her appetite. She hates the taste of it, but only has to receive it once a day as compared to the other one which was twice a day and made her sleepy. The other medication is called Magic Mouthwash and it helps her throat and mouth sores. No one wants to eat when they have a sore mouth and throat so this should help. We still have to encourage her to drink and eat, but I think it's getting better. Yesterday was a very good day for Karis. She played with her sisters some and got to hang out at Grandma's while Kyle and I went to dinner. Even got a report that she was picking on her cousin Derek who is almost 16 and well over 6 ft. She used to try to beat him up all the time and now she has her baby sister helping her! Braylin was sitting on him when we went to pick them up. The goals for Karis this week is to gain weight and go to school.

Man that's how much my 3 1/2 year old boy weighs. Just gotta keep praying and keep fighting. PRAYING!

I got this update via text tonite and thought I'd share it with you guys. It's been a long time since I've updated this. They've been doing multiple rounds of chemo and radiation for the last year and trying to keep her healthy through it all. They had her final MRI yesterday................

This is the note that Stephanie sent with the picture above:
The last year has been a roller coaster ride for our family and definitely not the kind you stand in line for just waiting in excitement until it’s your turn! As many of you know, our daughter Karis, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer, last November at the age of 5. Since then she has had 2 brain surgeries, an infusaport placed, 30 radiation treatments to her brain and spine, 8 rounds of high dose chemo, losing all her hair, multiple hospitalizations from; 2 infections, blood and platelet transfusions, and inpatient chemo, a feeding tube placed and all the emotional trauma from everything she has endured. Her last round of chemo began on Sept. 30 and she had her post treatment MRI this past Monday. Karis has been such a warrior and has envisioned being cancer free from the time she first understood what it meant to have cancer. Well, yesterday afternoon we got to go over the MRI results and I am happy to report with tears in my eyes that our little warrior princess is cancer FREE!!!!! I wanted to make sure to share this with everyone as you have all been such a tremendous support to Karis and our family throughout this journey. I know I don’t get to see a lot of you often, but please know my family and I are eternally thankful for everything that has been done for us. Prayers are priceless and have been answered again and again. There is still a long road ahead filled with follow-up MRI’s, lab work, nutrition, possible hormone injections, hearing tests, etc., but the important thing today is knowing our daughter is alive with a smile on her face and has a chance to live a long, happy life. We will continue to thank God for all our blessings and pray every day for him to heal Karis and keep her cancer free! After reading that last post it reminded me of my little cousin who had a form of brain cancer at an age of 4-5 also. She is now 18 and doing great as well. The hearing test and things just made my brain click and remember everything she went through, the same things Karis is going through and has gone through right now. Glad to know she is a fighter and survivor as well.

I went and visited them this last weekend. There was a benefit golf tournament for her on Sunday. Her mom, Stephanie, had been meaning to send me the pics of Karis in the shirt that Nick sent to her.
