They wont give me a shipping quote until I achieve 10.
That being stated I put one in the cart and shipping was 39 AUS or about $26. That's what made me stop. If they can get 10 baskets to me @ $5-7 US apiece shipping and I to you for around $10 US we save halfish on shipping and 15% discount or about $10 US for the group buy.
Put one in the cart, its 134.97 AUS shipped or $91.00 US.
Bizzare they wont give you the pricing. How can you properly organize a group buy if you cant even give people the final price theyll pay haha

I sent Kaon an email today to dial in the pricing, we shall see what they say.
If they come back with a quote I will expand it to GXOR.
Just as an exercise - Id also ask for the individual box size and weight so you can estimate what shipping from you to others in the group buy are.
Id also verify if they are going to come bulk packed (meaning you’re going to have to buy boxes, packing materials and tape them up) or individually boxed, where you just slap on a label.
I’ll be honest. $26 to ship a big chunk of metal from Australia seems... cheap. In the end, it might make sense to just take the 15% and let them handle the shipping.

Same experience here. Their shipping rate is Express International all the way from Australia so their rates are not bad.

The bad news Kaon suspended the group buy. The good news is they are having a site wide sale starting Wednesday for 10% off! Good thing most of you will be receiving a Govment deposit shortly.
