Nope - it was when they added the ABS, the '93-'94 FJZ80s with SF rear axles and drums have the VC and a CDL switch. The CDL deactivates the ABS ... which Toyota only thought you'd need in low range when the shifter activated the CDL automatically.Big_Moose said:The reason that the CDL switch was not installed by the factory is due to the Viscous Coupling in the center differential.
91-92 (including the later 100 series) doesn't have the viscous coupling, hence the CDL switch.
