Just joined the pink panties brigade! '96 LX450 elockers with pics!

Just picked up the newest vehicle I own. '96 LX450 fully loaded with elockers, 129K, $11K. Pretty stoked. OME 2.5" lift, 33's, and ARB front bumper are next. Aside from 2 light scratches the truck does not have 1 door ding and is in excellent condition.

Thanks for the comments guys. I live 1 block from the "beach" in SF. When the weather is nice it can't be beat... even though that is only a handful of days per year.

I drove into work today and it is such a nice truck I'll be smiling ear to ear for a long time. Trying to drive it like a wuss to see what kind of mpg I can get.

Going up to the snow this weekend to test out the elockers.

Nice truck Noel! I am really liking this color as well. Almost bought a black '96 FZJ80 last week.... glad I didn't now.

Just got back from a ski trip with 90% highway and the rest in town. Kept it mainly at 65mph and maybe 75 miles at 72mphish on cruise control. This was going uphill on way and downhill on the way back. There was quite a bit of traffic in some stretches, I punched it a few times to overtake, and I haven't even checked the tire pressure to see if it needs air! For the most part I was accellerating from a stop gently and not in a hurry at all.

The truck is 100% stock with stock factory roof rack and it went
280 miles with 17.3 gallons of 87 octane = 16.2mpg !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty happy about that! Don't think I'll be tuning it up anytime soon. Wondering what will happen to the gas mileage when I put on the lift and 33's?
