Just got an 06 LC!!

Never to soon to start the maintenance. At 10k it's time to change the diff and Tcase fluids! Removing the break-in wear particles and putting in a nice synthetic fluid will get them a good start at a long long life.

If I had a new 06 I would also install a transmission fluid filter. I realize this would probably be overkill but also cheap compared to the price of the transmission and the value of the vehicle.

My wife loves the way it drives that now she calls it "her" LC. Hard to believe she HATED big SUVs, but after one drive she was changed.

Hide the keys from your wife...trust me, I have already lost that battle

street duty...i doubt it will see any off-road duty, so it will stay pretty clean and zaino'd in the garage. just got the front windows tinted today with more stuff on the way
