Just purchased an 06 Lx470. I’ve been looking for quite a while. This one popped up on FB marketplace with 1 low res photo, but when I contacted the seller it was actually a sales rep from a Lexus dealership in Arizona.

It was a 1 owner w/ 145k and a good service history at the dealership. It had just been taken in the day before as a trade-in so no official photos but this sales person decided to throw it up before it was prepped.

The listing is down, so the main photo isn’t available but here’s a few of the underside he texted me. He sent some videos and the interior and exterior look similarly clean. I took it as a very good sign that a Lexus dealership decided to keep a 20 year old vehicle on the lot and not wholesale it. I think I may have lucked out on this one🤞

I noticed some unusual wear on the rear tires (presumably rotated from the front), so they’re replacing the 2 tires, doing an alignment, changing the oil, doing a full mechanical inspection and a detail then shipping it to me in NJ.

Congratulations, enjoy it in good health.

Front brake pads are at 5mm. Sales person says it passed the safety check and they didn’t replace them. They get replaced under 4mm…

I know a Lexus service advisor would be telling me I need new brake pads!!! Think I should be trying to get new brake pads up front worked into this deal?

Looks very unmolested and rust free underneath. I'd say you got a good deal and I don't even know what you paid.

They were asking $27, which made me think they must have really hammered some sweet old person over the head on this trade in… I offered $23500 and they agreed, plus $2500 to get it to me.

They did rear end someone in 2012. No mechanical/frame issues. Had to have front bumper cover resprayed…
