Yes i have been slacking. :whoops:

The next workday is coming up here soon. I am trying to get the stuff we need to fix our log bridge. That is my goal for our trail.

Anyone going up this weekend ? Need a measurement. If not just might have to hit it on Monday when i am up there for a meeting at the outpost.

My mom in flying in that weekend so i'm out for this one.

I'll be in CCW class 6/15. Sorry, seems every month I have a conflict :(

 R

Laura's mother will be in town that weekend. She'd likely be upset if I ditched and went to play in the woods.

Next month :frown:

I am on SAR duty that weekend.

You gonna be around the house this weekend at all?

Sent from my ultimate time waster using IH8MUD

I'm hoping to make it down as well. Darin, did you get the info for the bridge?

It's official, I'm in.

Mike, you'd better bring Burt.

So. Finally found out Terry is at school right now out of state. Going to try talking to Rodney now. Left him a message.

Might need some drill bits and a cordless drill / driver combo if someone has something you could bring / we can use.

I've got a drill, but it's not cordless. I can bring my 1200w inverter, that should do the trick.

I can't make this one due to work, but I've got a Milwaukee 18v cordless w/4 batteries I can send along with some Irwin spade bits and extension. Logistics is the only obstacle.
1. I can send them to and from with anybody who goes from CLT.
2. I can bring them to URE Thursday and pass off to anybody there who is also going on Saturday.
3. Or, leave them at URE with someone if Darin has any friendlies who would accommodate. Or Kenny?
I've got a guy going to FVL for a job on Saturday at the Crown so Darin could return them to him that evening/night. There's a chance he'll spend the night and could meet while passing through Raeford on Sunday morning.

Also, is Friends of Uwharrie still the preferred recipient of donations? It's time for my quarterly donation schedule to start.

Thanks for reading this far. Thoughts?

A 3/4 inch hole through a log? That's gonna take a lot of drill. Might I suggest drilling at a location with a corded drill. Then transporting the logs. I usually drill half inch holes through 6 inch timbers and a cordless drill battery could never last. And an inverter might even get overwhelmed. I'd bring my generator but its way too big.
I'm gonna try to make it out for this one. I have a couple paddle bits that size.
