Picked up the $ I need for my side project, picked up a little something for you, Al.

Terry is dropping off the air movers tomorrow and ill pack the cruiser so I'm good to go for Saturday morning, bright and early. Get pumped!!!
 
If someone has a fish scale can they bring it. I can't seem to find mine.

Small Change in what i'm going to be doing to mine...... not going to do a total axle rebuild..... just put the bigger rotors and calipers from the fzj80 axle in my garage on to go with the new brakes.

So i'll be putting new wheel bearings in.

Not really need to do a full tear down and rebuild as my old seals have maybe 8K on them (and I don't have any leaks or birf soup yet. and if all goes well and I get the longs I want early next year i'll be doing it all over again anyway.

So basically i'll be pulling the old rotors and calipers and putting the new (to me) ones on and then switching out the MC and brake booster.

I'll save the rest of the kit for when I have to pull it all apart to put the longs in.

But for now I need brakes for the beast. :cheers:

Can't wait to tomorrow. If you haven't received Al's PM, PM me and I will resond at 0600.

Troopy work will incude replacing the temp gauge, installing it in the old stereo location, taking Troopy for test drive post installation, checking AC belt-think it is too tight, installing IBS Dual Battery Sytem, running welding wire for inverter from front to back, and installing new stereo & speakers...basically a great deal of electricity.

Lunch & drinks will be provided.

To those bringing fans and air movers- THANK YOU!!!

Booyah! Not many and not great but proof it happened.

I had a great time today and learned a ton. It was good meeting everyone. Quentin, thanks for your hospitality! Johnny and everyone else, thanks for your patience answering all my noob questions!
