Well, it’s been a minute, but time for some update pictures. Big milestone today, I finished up fabricating my exhaust. I’m stoked! I think it looks great and should flow good too.
I’m using block hugger type headers I found on Amazon. The weld quality and joint fit up is shocking in how good it is. The tubing is thin though, flanges are a good thickness, so I’m not too worried about longevity. That being said I obviously said money because of the the tube thickness and they’re Chinese offshore copies of BBK’s it appears. I also got the straight tube/elbow kits from Amazon too. Again, thinner than I would’ve wanted, but I’m bleeding money on this build and honestly when this set up rots out, I’ll spend more money on better quality materials.
I found a used Pypes X-box locally that was a dual 2.5” inlet/outlet that I made a oval to round 3” transition for. The muffler is a Flowmaster FlowFX 3” straight through bullet. Anyway, hope you all enjoy the pictures. I know those are usually the best part unless you’re a great story teller and we do have a few here, I’m not one of them. Enjoy!
