First impression is that it was a very nice kit, included grade 8 hardware, an aluminum puck for the cat side body mount to avoid melting. I ran into a couple of issues with the rad. Brackets however but since it was a prototype it didn't bother me. I spoke to Joel on the phone to tell him about it and he was more than helpful and apologized for the issues. I gave him some of the bugs that I encountered and he changed them for the future kits. The pucks were very high quality and everything lined up perfectly! A word of advice, unbolt the radiator before you do the body lift, the clutch fan was hitting the shroud with some force so it makes getting the bolts out a pita! Also for the very rear mounts fir those of you that don't know you access from the access ports underneath the vehicle behind the spare tire. Overall a very nice complete kit and I hope they call on me again if they need something tested ;-D

Now you have room to run that exhaust over the frame aft of the cats! Mine kept getting banged up by the rocks.

Lets see some before and after pics of the rig!

js93cruiser Made some very good points which have now been incorporated in the kit.

Thanks for the review, we are happy you like the kit!!

Let's see some photos of the end result!

I've been dying to see one of these installed.

Not to detract from this thread - but that is a myth. There is room for a properly installed 3" exhaust over the frame rails on a stock truck.

Back to the thread...

What did you end up doing to fix the radiator interference?

I'll take some pics when I get off work today, I ended up just grinding off the back of the bolt, this portion of the kit will be fixed per Joel

Bump old thread update on Jonesy's/Duiser.com 1" body lift.

I just got this 1" body lift from Duiser.com, it was a long wait but after I received it I noticed some changes, changes for the better. All the pucks are now aluminum & they added a steering spacer that was only for the 2" kit. I don't know if they where having problems with sourcing the poly pucks or if this was a one off to fill the order, but the product looks to be of good quality & I'm a bit excited to get this on & report back with my findings. Here's a pic.

A Duiser 1" body lift product review.

I just recently installed a Duiser body lift kit said to be a the only complete kit on the market. I'm really happy with it. The install went very smooth & hear is how it went. My rig is very clean underneath so I didn't have any rust to deal with. It can be done in a half day easy if you stay focused. I have small curious kids that want daddy time so I did it slowly with many family breaks in about 10 hours. Here is a pic of the parts.

The first thing I noticed was the all aluminum pucks... I don't know if that was just a one off to fill the order because of resourcing the poly good or bad for corrosion, but I live in the desert, so I'll move on. The bolts are 3/8" by 5", 5.5" & 7". The 7" are for the front & 5.5" for rear. Don't get them mixed up like I did.

Here on mud there is a very detailed thread that was very informative with good pictures.

https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/definitive-1-body-lift-how-to.589776/

It is said in there the rear bolts can be a bear to get in. I just made sure it was lifted high enough to get the bolt in at an angle before it went in strait.

The radiator bracket did not fit my 97 LX very good so I modified it. In the picture below is a metal strap with a wheel lug stud in it. It was hitting the support & making it go up at an angle. I installed the stock bolt in there & it fit better. I have no after picture. Sorry. Other than that it went in just fine. Here is more random pics.

Is duiser back in business again?

Yes, kind of. I finally got my stuff, it took awile for the kit to come.
Duiser Offroad, would you like to respond to answer that question?

I have an idea as to why they changed the pucks to aluminum. My right rear puck is missing! don't know if the bolt was loose and allowed the puck to move and wear. I developed a banging noise coming from the right rear corner, and I recently noticed my tailgate has no longer wants to fall open when I release the latch. I looked around for what may have been causing the noise to find to my surprise that the body mount was missing. I have fewer than 5,000 miles since installation.
