I have erosion of some flower beds I cut in a few weeks ago. I need amendments anyway, literally no big loss.

I'm glad I put a new roof on last month. I lost some shingles in a wind storm approx. three months ago. I'm sure I would have had some leaks after all this rain.

I believe Lake Jordan is a buffer for us from the east. It is also a dry spot as it seems all the rain from the West dumps on the East side of the Lake as it comes over and must pick up a little moisture.

Hugh tree on main st fell , knocked down 6 power poles . Power company said power won't be on till noon tomorrow , so hotel here I come .

Don't know they wouldn't let you up there.

Bridge on the short route to the home I am buying is no Bueno now ... The long route adds 20 miles to a 45 mile one way drive :bang:

I have these STUPID ornamental dormers on my house that do nothing but let western sunlight in to heat up the attic.
Well, do to the sh**y flashing job, I have leaks at the lower corners.
Fortunately the leaks just drip onto the 'ceiling of my front porch and to the outside, so damage is minimal, but :bang:

well, all of the rain did create some additional work for us. Have to replace the water line that was washed away when the road collapsed. But my house is good.

My brother lives in Columbia and he woke up Sunday to find his crawl space flooded. Note: He does not live in a flood zone. He can't complain as his neighbors' houses down the street are flooded on the first floor. He texted today that he had to evacuate as a dam upstream broke.

I've seen a lot of pictures friends posted on fb and it looks awful in some low-lying spots.

My Aunt and Uncle in Columbia woke up to 6 inches of water in their living room and had to evacuate to a church.

Sister-in-law down on the black river in Georgetown sent some pictures of the water rising on her dock.

The first two taken on Sunday. The third taken this morning, as the water from Columbia is coming her way. The piece in the background,at an angle, is her floating dock that is usually 15 feet below where it is now. I am scheduled to go down there on Friday and measure counter tops and then to Charleston to measure same for her daughter. Wonder how that will play out.
