If interior space is not an issue why not in the cab somewhere?

Really like the compact arrangement here:

that would be sweet if I had deep pockets.

could I mount it to my rear wheelwell? Do the cans seal up pretty good? I probably wouldn't notice since it already smells like gas in there. but probably a non-smoking vehicle then.

I have what appears to be the exact same model and it is always falling over in the back of the pickup - the 1/8" rubber seal keeps it sealed up tight!

so no leaks eh? Maybe I will just bolt it to my passenger side rear wheelwell. I have 1/4" steel on top so it should be sturdy enough. less of a hazard for other drivers.

Here is what I decided to do for my jerrycan. They sent me the carrier without the strap so I'm getting a whole new carrier with strap for free. Anyone need a brand new carrier?

Now you can bolt something to the inside also. But there might be enough weight with the jerry can already. I'm holding out for a long range fuel cell.

You ever get pulled over for a license plate light?

This is Montana you don't get pulled over here unless you're dinking around. I'm not sure if it's required here.

Just curious if this would be safe for on the trail. Right now its empty. I'm supposed to get the strap for the carrier tomorrow but I'm not sure if I trust a piece of cloth holding it in. THis is what I have for now. Be harsh if need be I just want it to be safe. TIA
