I got the following message forwarded to me by NMOHVA Prez. If you click the link, the impression is that it is a Jeep only event but Frank clearly states the intention is not to limit the event to Jeeps only. I thought some in the group might be interested in attending and/or including their Toyota in the event. If you are interested, I will get you Frank's contact information. I will be out of town so I won't be able to attend.

Mark’s Casa Jeep on the Westside will be holding a “Jeep Jam” event on Saturday, July 31st. (Mark's Casa Jeep Jam) Lonnie Moody, the internet sales manager at the dealership came to the New Mexico 4-Wheelers club meeting tonight to talk about this event and what they are trying to get going. This is not going to be a glamour event with a bunch of yahoo Jeepers that put fancy chrome “bling” and 22” wheels on their vehicles to look good. They seem to understand that we are serious users that go out and USE the vehicles while respecting the land we use. If you look at the website, it mentions classes. One of those classes will be given by a 15+ year veteran NM4W member on responsible 4-wheeling in New Mexico. I could see this being like the 4x4 101 thing that NM4W used to do with the Auge dealership in Belen. Anyway, they are looking to have more than just jeeps there and Lonnie said they welcome all things off-road. That said, NMOHVA is invited to set up a booth at this event. I am going to try and make it to this event and will try and represent NMOHVA and NM4W, but I would encourage having additional representation from NMOHVA.
If you have any additional questions about this, feel free to ask me.
Thanks,
Frank
